On December 10th, Human Rights Day, we will mark the 3 year anniversary of the disappearance of Uyghur scholar Rahile Dawut. The meeting will include remarks from her daughter, Akida Pulat, as well as scholar Rian Thum on the situation of Uyghur scholars under the Chinese regime’s rapidly escalating genocide. We will also hear from Uyghur individuals who are missing parents on the severity of the present situation and what they need currently to confront the torment of seeing a relative abducted by a government that still faces no consequences for its horrific human rights abuses.
